Use at least 10 grams (2TB) of fresh ground (medium grind) coffee for each 6 oz of water. Use filtered water (inexpensive water filter pitchers widely available). Use 200 degree water. If your coffee equipment allows - stir the grounds as you pour water over them. We recommend the basic pour over method using a filter holder, a coffee filter and a coffee cup/carafe. Drink immediately.
